Give every client a home that runs itself
Updated July 2026
The best closing gift isn't consumed — it compounds. OnOtto partner plans let realtors and home inspectors gift each client a home-maintenance autopilot: persistent reminders, AI that turns appliance photos and inspection reports into schedules, and your name on the experience all year. $25/month covers 100 giftable client accounts — about $0.25 per client per month — and the first 10 partners join the pilot free.
For realtors: the closing-gift moment, extended for years
- Gift OnOtto at closing. Hand over a gift code with the keys. Your buyer activates a full household account — no charge to them, ever.
- Co-branded onboarding. The welcome email and in-app onboarding carry your name and photo: "Gifted by [you]." First impressions of homeownership come with your fingerprints on the good parts.
- A monthly top-of-mind touchpoint. Every reminder OnOtto sends — test the smoke detectors, flush the water heater, clean the gutters — quietly carries your branding. When friends ask your client "who was your agent?", you're the one who's still helping, three years after the sale.
Referrals come from being remembered. A gift card is remembered for a weekend; a home that never surprises its owner is remembered at every backyard barbecue where someone complains about a $6,000 furnace.
For inspectors: your report becomes their maintenance plan
- Deliver more than a PDF. Most inspection reports are read once, in a panic, before closing. With OnOtto's inspection import, your buyer uploads your report and the AI converts every recommendation into scheduled, recurring tasks.
- Your findings, on a calendar. "Monitor the water heater anode" becomes an annual task. "Recommend servicing the furnace" becomes a fall reminder. Your professional judgment keeps working long after the walkthrough.
- Stay the trusted expert. Co-branded reminders mean the buyer who needs a re-inspection, a maintenance inspection, or a referral for their sister's new house remembers exactly one inspector's name.

The math against every other closing gift
| Gift | Typical cost | Useful lifespan | Times your name resurfaces |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gift basket / wine | $50–150 | A week | Once, at handoff |
| Cutting board / décor | $75–200 | Until the next move | Passive at best |
| Smart doorbell / gadget | $100–300 | 2–3 years | Zero — the brand on it isn't yours |
| OnOtto gifted account | ~$0.25/client/month | As long as they own the home | Every reminder, all year (~40–60/yr) |
Typical closing gifts run $50–$300 per client, once. A partner plan spreads 100 client accounts across $25/month — a rounding error per client — and it's the only option on the list that talks to your client next January.

What does my client actually receive?
A full OnOtto household account — persistent recurring maintenance reminders, photo appliance identification, and sharing for up to 6 family members — activated with your gift code. Their onboarding is co-branded: your name and photo on the welcome, "Gifted by [you]" in the app, and your contact info one tap away when they need a pro.
How is this better than a $100 gift basket?
A basket is gone in a week and rarely remembered at referral time. OnOtto reminds your client you exist every time it saves them from a missed filter change or a frozen hose bib — roughly 40–60 useful touchpoints a year, each one carrying your name. Typical closing gifts run $50–$300 per client; a partner plan works out to about $0.25 per client per month.
How does the inspection import work?
Your buyer (or you, on their behalf) uploads the inspection report at app.onotto.com/scan. OnOtto's AI reads it and turns every "recommend servicing" and "monitor this" line into scheduled, recurring tasks — so your report becomes the maintenance plan the buyer actually follows, instead of a PDF they never reopen.
What does the partner plan cost, and is there a commitment?
$25/month for either the Agent or the Inspector plan, including 100 giftable client accounts, co-branded onboarding, and a monthly engagement summary. Month-to-month, cancel anytime — clients you've already gifted keep their accounts. The first 10 partners get the pilot free while we shape the program together.
Do my clients pay anything?
No. Gifted accounts are covered by your plan. If a household later wants more than the gifted tier (say, more AI scans), they can upgrade themselves — but nothing about the gift expires or converts into a surprise charge.
