Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I set up a task due every Thursday?

If you want a task to recur on an interval based on the date scheduled instead of the date completed (default) then, while adding or editing a task, choose “Scheduled Date” from the drop down to set the next due date. Then if you don’t check it off until Friday or Saturday, it’ll still show up as due on the next Thursday.

  • Is there an OnOtto mobile app?

Not yet, but it’s in the works.

For quick access to your list on your phone’s home screen, load up https://app.onotto.com in Safari (iOS) or Chrome (Android). Under the “Share” or “…” menu choose “Add to Home Screen” and a shortcut will appear. You’ll be asked to log in again, but it should be smooth sailing after that.

  • Where’s my confirmation email?

Your confirmation email should arrive almost instantly after you sign up. If you don’t see it in your inbox, check your Promotions folder or the dreaded Junk or Spam folders. Make sure to add onotto-no-reply@bubbleapps.io to your safe-senders list so you don’t miss it.

If all else fails, get in touch, and we’ll help sort it out.

  • How much does OnOtto cost?

OnOtto is free to use for managing your tasks and to-dos. We’re focused on being the best recurring maintenance reminder app for managing your home and life. It’s a service that was started to solve a real daily need for its founders, and we hope it helps you, too!

Our revenue comes from the service providers matched to any jobs you choose to put out for hire on the app (by checking “Put it OnOtto”). However, there is no requirement to hire out any of your tasks.

Also, as an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.

  • How often should I…?

With so many variables in play (your climate, equipment, condition/age, level of use, etc.), we can’t provide a one-size-fits all recommendation for many tasks. Depending on what you’re maintaining, consult your owner’s manual to understand the specific recommendations and put those items into your OnOtto task list. Check out our Starter Packs to learn more about common home maintenance tasks, too.
